I've having a big knife day. Also in the mail was the knives I sent in to Pete for a spa treatment. But Joe took over and worked through a couple of things. The 1975 3 pin two dot had a problem with the rocker and wouldn't shut but the ebony was so good I asked them to save the knife. It came back perfect. The 1974 two pin two dot just needed sharpening and the blade polished. Someone had used it till it was dull and put it away. It looks great. Finially, the 500 I bought in 1992 and broke the tip on a crab trap. It has seen lots of pocket wear and the bolster were very scratched. Came back with a nice 420hc blade and nice and shiny.

Delighted with all three. I also sent back my KOA CS112 due to heavy blackening of the wood from the buffer rouge. Joe advised me that was common and might be the case if replaced. So, that knife is coming back with Jigged Buffalo. Life in my Buck World couldn't be better.

One thing I noticed in the picture is the difference in blade shape between the 110 two variations. Notice the brawner blade in the 3 pin? Most interesting. Oh, that's a smudge on the inlay on the 3 pin. It wiped right off.

this is the evidence of the skilled hand work that goes in to them!
