I wanted to thank Brett for his amazing generosity. I have been hoping to find a GEC 06 single blade in ebony on the exchange. I had almost given up. However, one did finally show up. It was listed by Brett. I jumped at the chance to buy it.

The package arrived today. I am thrilled with my 06. However, I am more excited and.....well, dumbfounded that Brett also included a bonus. Actually, several unexpected items. First a handwritten note, a coin, Eric's Jack and a photo of his beautiful daughter. It took me a minute to process this generous gesture. I know there's a lot of sharing that takes place on the forum but this was the first time for me to be the recipient of such kindness.

I will say I am excited on many levels but to keep it mostly about knives...this is my first Eric's Jack and first Canal Street. It's also my first time to handle a CS knife. I am very impressed with knife. The stag is perfect, well balanced with lots of texture (just how I like it)! I appreciate the extra time he took to spread goodwill and brighten my day.

Thank you Brett.

Curtis

Great post Curtis---they come no finer than Brett:thumbup: The traditional forum benefits from you both:cool:;)

Excellent post Curtis! Brett is a first class guy and a great contributor to this community. I had a suspicion that I wasn't the only one that felt that way.

Can't say enough nice things about Brett - he is a good man and a generous gentleman - I can attest to that. OH

I have experienced Brett's generosity first hand. He is a devoted father, husband and family man. Brett is a true gentleman. He is just one of many who make this a special place to be. Brett, Sir, I am honored to call you a friend.

Thanks for sharing the generosity you experienced, Curtis! I really appreciate hearing these stories.
Kudos to Brett for treating everyone so kindly, thoughtfully, and generously.:thumbup::thumbup:

Good stuff, Brett is certainly a great guy and member of the forum. 'Course I could say the same about everyone thats posted in here :) Love the spirit of this place.

I love these kinds of threads. Both of you gents show exactly the spirit this forum has and the fine members foster here. When a knife is given and received this way it becomes so much more than just a knife, the value increases exponentially.

Wonderful stuff.

Chris
