Last week I posted in response to Dale Gribble's thread about finally bonding with his Sodbuster. I mentioned how I'd like to give one another shot, once I was able to find one in CV. My previous experience had been with a black delrin handled stainless model that I purchased at a local Lowes store, and wound up being fairly disappointed in it. The fit and finish was fairly poor on it, and the thing was an absolute bear trap, which was the real deal breaker for me since I struggle with early onset arthritis in my hands.
Later that evening, I received an unsolicited PM from Mr. Hilborn. He said he needed my address, and had a little something to send me.
Wow, this is worlds different from my previous Soddie. Nice fit, finish, a good solid 6 on pull, smooth, sharp, and yeller'
.
Thank you, Paul, for your generosity and thoughtfulness. You've enlightened me.
Thanks for looking!
