Steve,

Yangdu, Ram, and the rest of the HI crew just want to say thanks for helping Ram achieve his dream of becoming a doctor and helping the people of Nepal.

Since Ram is in his last year and I'm sure he'll need some more assistance before it's all over, so if anybody feels they want to help Steve support Ram feel free to do so.

If you have question on what you can do to help, just contact me or Steve.

Letter from Ram

Dear Respected Loving Aunt,

Well aunt,If everything goes fine.I will get my degree in June and leave this country by July. I hope everything will go fine. You don't know,How much I missed Nepal? Life is really depressive here.

Weather is becoming freezing day by day here. How are you doing there? How is job going on? How are you doing physically and mentally?
Nice to hear that Afro-Americna-Barrack Obama became the President of America.Hope things will go better during his term and will not bring more War in the world.

Please don't forget to take care of your health as well.Wish you all the best..and have a nice day.

Yours help and blessing reciever..
Ram.

Although new here, I have witnessed enough of Steve's efforts to be able to be see them as selfless and humbling.

It is a honour to assist him in this cause.

Thank you Steve!

My friends,
There are so many wonderful people that have helped with this project. Without you all, I would have been unable to help complete Uncle Bill and Yandu's wonderful work. Ram is a fine young man who has been away from family, friends and country for a long time. He's the one who has learned English and Latvian, and has studied and worked so hard, alone in a foreign land. My thanks go out to all my friends who have helped with this.

We're not there yet. One more tuition payment, some rent and food, and surely a ticket back to Nepal will be required. But there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you all.

Steve

I hesitate to post on these threads, because I tend to gush about the good-heartedness and tremendous contribution Steve is making towards Ram.

And, because he is so self-effacing that it embarrasses him. :)

Trust me, it would not have happened were it not for Steve.

A fine man.

Help him if you possibly can, please.
