So about a week and a half ago I gutted a torx screw on my ZT 560 trying to put a custom scale on. I emailed CS and told them what happened and that it was in the process of modifying my knife. By all rights of The warranty they didn't have to help me. Brittany had me sent it out they pulled the screw replaced it and sent it back no problems.

And just because your all gonna ask anyway here is a pic of the knife back and I put the scale on it.

They are Great! I think as long as you don't do any permanent modifications they are cool with it.

Whereas, another company, if you even take the knife apart it voids the warranty.

We say they are the best in the business, BUT I say they could be the best in any business. I can't think of any other company that treats its customers this well. Even when personalizing or lightly modifying their knives.
 
I did the same thing to my 0550, stripped the pivot screw. Brittany hooked me up a well and the parts got here quick.
