It's no surprise here on the forums that Jack Black is a generous soul. I witnessed that yet again yesterday. A few weeks ago I was blessed to win his GAW of some cutlery for the young ones in my house. The voyage ended yesterday evening when a package arrived in the mailbox. After carefully opening the package, it revealed several wonderful gifts! Not only was there a lovely set of Pinder Brothers Stainless Cutlery, but also a miniature baseball bat (he had mentioned he had this during my GAW), a book on tricks with magnets (which we have all had fun with), a very cool keyring bottle opener (my husband nabbed that) and a lovely postcard that included a handwritten note. Such a nice gesture from a very generous man! So, this is my feeble attempt to say thanks for some very nice gifts that my family is already enjoying. Thanks for everything, Jack. My family is most appreciative.

The Royal Air makes this just feel all that more special.

A very neat box the cutlery arrived in.

Some very nice new cutlery. *My daughter and husband are calling it her "princess" set. *I think that is supposed to mean "extra fancy" to the two of them. *This is an amazing set and truly beautiful. *My pictures hardly ever do anything justice, but believe me, this set is even more beautiful in person.

All the goodies fresh out of the envelope. *A variety of greatness for our house!

My son, Marcus, with Riley in the background, trying out a magnet trick this morning. *The magnets were doughnut magnets with small doughnut hole centers (that's the best way I can describe them), so they were using the doughnuts on the bottom of the chair to move the holes on the top. *Fun times.

Very very neat Jennifer!!! I too have been the recipient of Jacks remarkable generosity:thumbup: Jack is not just a one gift kinda guy either---he includes such neat additional gifts as well.

I won his GAK give away and was tickled for just winning the knife but Jack being Jack there were additional goodies in the package:o

Neat picture of your son---you can see that he is so intrigued/curious:thumbup::D

Jack---I've said this before but can't say it enough---I use our friend Duncan's term---LEGEND Jack, your kindness is legendary my friend:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Both you and Jennifer are such great members here---thanks to the both of you:)

I love that Jack created a family oriented give away and then included something for everyone in your family.

Well done sir Jack on a generous and thoughtful gaw.

Thanks for sharing Jennifer.

If our forum was a gang , Jack would be up there with Charlie and Paul, Gev etc as the original patched members :D, in my step sons Lingo - heavy duty stuff Dude!

I blame Jack for my sudden shortage of knives - his generosity is contagious!

What happened to all my knives!!!:D

More seriously, good on you Jack and Jennifer is always appreciative!:)

Very generous and thoughtful of you Jack! Something for Jennifers whole family to enjoy.:)

Jennifer,
Thank You for taking time to share the photos and happiness.
Jack is FIRST CLASS.

I'm very glad the package arrived OK Jennifer. Thanks everyone, you've all been very generous to me too, it's a pleasure to be able to hang out with such fine folks :)

Jack is definitely one of the most generous members of our family here. But more than that, I've noticed a strange thing about Jack's generosity. He somehow tailors his generosity to the individual on the receiving end. It's like he keeps a file on who likes what, and sends of his treasure trove packages with tailored payloads to the recipient. Almost like he has a bit of MI5 on the payroll with our files on tap. Like he knew I was a pipe smoker, so he very thoughtfully sent a vintage tobacco tin, a pipe windscreen, and a pipe tool along with his box.

The personalization of his generosity is the real touch of class to the man. The thoughtful tailoring of the gifts to the individual. A very thoughtful gentleman!

Thanks for all your replies. You were right, Paul, Marcus was very intrigued by these new toys. I don't think he has ever really seen magnets away from the fridge before. Several of you guys mentioned how Jack made this a family gift. You're right. He did. He certainly seems to send the right stuff (things specifically for them) to the recipients of his gifts. He either has a very big notebook or a very good memory! :) At any rate, he's certainly a card carrying member right at the top of this gang. And Primble, although I hate you have so few knives now , I'm just a tiny bit excited about the one I have coming! :D Thanks to you again as well.

Jack is the man. :) His generosity is legend, we all love Jack here, he contributes so much in the way of pictures, stories, history and just plain good old friendship. Yea we all like Jack. :)

He's leaving today
Your gonna be a part of it
From old Sheffield Way

Those vagabond shoes, are longing to stray
Right from the heart of it
To make you a part of it
Those old Leeds shoes
Are melting away

...awe ...you know we love ya Jack ...Legend...they write songs about you

Thanks again folks! :D :o

I might have to start keeping files, my memory is getting worse by the day! :D
