This one is a bit more fancy to go with the shiny ASH. Fully lined with kangaroo leather and treated with neatsfoot oil, rather than my usual beeswax based conditioner.

And a close up on the stamping

Oh my! You are talented sir! What is the difference between beezwax and neatsfoot oil treatment?

Oil penetrates, soaking into fibers leaving somewhat matte finish.
Beeswax has to be applied with the use of heat (yes, I use my wife's hairdryer more often than she does :D) and after cooling down it crates a bit of a barrier in the leather making it a bit harder and more water resistant than oil. Depending on leather quality it can be susceptible to 'polishing' which will make it more shiny.
Most of the time I use beeswax BASED conditioner, but a few times I just melted pure beeswax and soaked the sheaths in it. This can lead to oversaturation, when the sheath will 'sweat' wax, but that would make it quite waterproof.

Very nice work! Is it just lined with kangaroo, or is the entire sheath made from it?

Just lined, 'roo leather, at least the stuff easily available, is just over 1mm thick and very soft, so I thought that should work well not to scratch that pretty satin blade. (Intended to be passed on to the kid by the person who ordered it).

Is it for sale ? Do you make them for people ?
ill take 1, please

I'm slowly starting to make with intent to sell, so if you're interested let me know ;)

Mighty fine work Cesar!;):thumbup::thumbup:

Thank you Tom.
