A bit of wildlife viewing

So my wife, son and I take off to Cades Cove Tn today up in the Smokies. The views were kinda limited due to the fog and rain. But we got a few choice pictures that made it an experience! Then as we were leaving the park we see a few cars slowing up ahead. So we pull over and take out on foot only to come up on a black bear everyone was trying to see from a distance! We got real close to this guy....maybe too close! It was a rush for sure!

Nice pics Tackett. Was it crowded? Won't be long before the leaves start turning. Won't be able to stir 'um with a stick.

It wasn't too crowded Wilson the weather was kinda bad here in east Tn yesterday.
We were a little nervous...but hell I'm Bigger than he was!!!!!!:D Nah he was more concerned with browsing, he was munching every acorn and root he came across.

Bill let me tell ya, if it weren't in a national park... there would have been before and after pictures of each!!!
 
Hey Tackett, the weather's not togreat today either. I'm just a few miles south of you. :D
 
Id like to see that, matt and a bear toe to toe! I dont thing our frog giggin spears would help much with a bear tackett.
 
That frog giggin was fun as hell!!! those frogs did not stand a chance when me chris and our buddy jack d. set out after em!
