A bit off topic I know, but...

This is a bit off topic, I know, but I'm not sure who to direct this particular question to! I can log in, but the server says that I don't have permission to run any searches?!? Why is this? can anyone explain this to me? Have I done something to anger the powers that be???

check the announcement thread at the top of the page. Searches have been disabled for basic members for the time being.

Don't listen to Josh... yes, you did do something bad. You know that squirrel you ran over the other day? Well, it negatively affected your karmic thread. You and you alone will no longer be able to conduct searches until you make a small sacrifice of acorns, a few peanuts and some red pistachios to that squirrel that you always seem to see in your back yard. He really is an animal spy sent to watch over you. Appease him, now.

I don't remember any squirrel, but that's okay, I don't remember much of anything sometimes. Maybe I forgot my tin-foil hat to protect me from the CIA whose trying to intercept my brainwaves! You know, I usually keep it on with a velcro strap, but it may have come off in the midst of the night- or is that just what they WANT me to think happened???? Thanks for the update on the searches, though. And does anyone know how long this will last? Thanks, again- and don't ever forget that JUST because you're paranoid, DOESN'T mean they're really not out to get you!
