A blade for bowling

So I got intrigued by "spalted wood". I liked the dark lines, I had seen it in the natural state, but the wood was mostly rotten. Then I saw some venders offering spalted scales for pistols and knives, so I ordered some. There is still some punky wood but some is hard as nails with good lines and color. In the middle of the wood selections there was this "spalted acrylic". Wow, kinda loose with terminology but, why not buy it. It has the look of a 1950s bowling ball, but it worked out. I add some brass spacers and it finished nicely. The blade came with some filework and it is high carbon, so I'm glad I didn't add any more. Now for a bowling alley sheath.

Two more blades that I've had around. More spalted hackberry. The chute knife still needs some stainless rounding, filing is way too slow.
