There was past discussion concerning the possible use of a burgundy micarta for Spydercos folders. perhaps Sal and the folks at R&D can give any updates.

Red G-10 would be OK, polished like the Kershaw Mini Task would be better. I just can't help but think that thin and light as possible is the way to go with this knife even if black is the only color option. The design is where the strenth is.
Materials like CF or Micarta would be more than sufficent, you can only get but so much leverage on a knife this short.
I would like to hear what Tim and Sal has to say about this idea.

Well, you got my attention. A CF Mouse would be cool.

How about that red/black carbon fiber?

That would be cool, and really lighten the Mouse, make it much easier to carry in a shirt pocket.....

Cooler looking as a money clip.....

Just a normal CF would be fine for me.

Colored Carbon Fiber or G10 on any Spyderco gets my vote. There is something about those scales that does it for me! I hope Sal is reading & listening!!!
