I recently won an auction for an old school Busse on that auction site, and after a huge nearly 8 week screw around with shipping (apparently when I changed my address after a move, I didn't change it enough
), it finally arrived today.
I don't know much about it, other than it's old, approximately 1983ish, correct me if I'm wrong if anyone knows different.
Without further adieu,

It is also HUGE. Bigger than a SHBM, and THICK, at least .32"

It has a very thick tip

This is by far the oldest Busse that I own. It has an impressive heft to it, and the thickness with the linen micarta scales is very comfortable in hand.
Seeing as it was already a light user when I got it, it seemed a shame to not build at least one fire with it. We all know that Jerry sheds a tear of JWB for every unused Busse sitting unmolested in the darkness of a safe somewhere.
So first chore was to split some cedar

Then make a fuzz stick

And just add a little fire (I cheated and used a Bic, don't hate me
)

So let's see the other vintage Busse users that are around. Someone else has one of those right? Right?
