A blast from the past !!!!

Hope ya don't mind me posting this John but my dad has added some old pics to his facebook and I had to show these two.

This was probably the favourite dog from my youth, his name was Barney and he was an Airedale Terrier. As ya can see he was a pretty big dog, wary of strangers but a real softy once he got to know ya !!!

I've always wanted an AirDale ! Dad had one growing up & loved it, said he was a very tough/Brave dog & very loyal & protective. Thanks for the pics !

Funny ya say that John cos the small lighter coloured Siamese cat nearest the camera was the boss at my dads, she was only tiny and old but even kept Barney in check !!!!
