I missed the OKCA show due to work, which sent me up to Valdez Alaska for a couple weeks. (For more local pics see the thread in the Community section.) Still I did find a number of knives ranging from pristine to not-so-much. Still, I tend to pick up stuff that interests me, and I thought I'd put some of this trips collection up for you all to share.

This (apparently unused) Camillus Scout had to come with me:

Likewise this (Camillus again) Electrician with it's faint but readable etching:

I don't normally pick up advertising knives, but this pair of Imperial Tuxedo's called to me, and I wonder just how many of these they sold...

Toledo Gold is not often found on knives, and this, being unmarked, makes be think this is actually Spanish made. The tourist areas in southern Spain have lot's of cheap knives for tourists, but not so much with scales like this.

Then there's outlier, a silver fruit knife, I think by Gorham's, that I picked up mainly for the scales. Fruit flies...Made me smile...

Thanks for the show!! Nice nuts!!
A worn tang or spring will sometimes "pop" up the blade tip; dictated by geometry.
That's an interesting Catt! Looks like a semi-sowbelly!!!:D

Here's some more. I'm posting as I unpack, and between chores...

This little Anvil is near mint.

This was pretty crudy, but I suspected it was a Schrade. And I have a weakness for California clips...

Another advertising knife, this is almost 4" closed. I suspect it laid a long time in a drawer because, other than the stain on one scale, it appears unused. If's unmarked, and VERY stiff.

This little pen is Swedish (thanks, Rich S). Well made, but obviously dropped or used to pry something. The maker is not one I know.

This is another German made knife, badly treated. It was difficult to open up, being rusty and the blades having been misplaced due to the bend in the smaller blade. Took a little prying to get open...

Chips in the blades are the most common injury to this collection. This one I really regret:

Still more coming...

Some great finds there, congratulations :)

Nice assemblage of knives. I'm not familiar with the maker, but Eskiltuna is in Sweden. Too bad the point is broken. I suspect it can easily be reground. Eskiltuna is perhaps best known for makers of Swedish barrel knives (I have a small collection of those and some Swedish fixed blades).

I really like that fruit knife! The cover-flies just set it apart from anything I’ve seen before. That’s a good haul already, and there’s even more to come.

A co-worker showed me several photos and told me stories of his trips to his Grandfathers cabin on Lake Bemidji. They would go there every summer for two weeks to fish, swim and just hang out. I’m sure 50 years have changed how it looks today. Nice little acquisition:thumbsup:

I really like that Camillus Xcelite k-22, I almost bought one of these on eBay a couple weeks ago because I love Vaco/Xcelite screwdrivers.
Well everything except the puke smell their acetate handles get, these and old Craftsman get it the worst for some reason.
