...well...all I can report is that our first Tomahawk CQB workshop was a great success!!!!

I will prepare a detailed report with some streaming video in a week or two for the website. In the meantime, enjoy these pics. I will be posting a pic tomorrow of our Vietnam Trainer Tomahawk.....IT'S HERE and we tested them full-tilt-boogie today at the class...no failures, and the realism they afforded to Tomahawk techniques were amazing!

Some discussion of concepts...a few students are pictured here, with more off camera...among those included in this pic are Brian Jones, Paul Ehlers off to the immediate right, and the lovely HawkChucker

Caracci uses a choked up grip on the Hawk-head for close in fighting....this grip style is unique and verrrrrry effective.

...a very simple, but dead stop T-Block from the top of the Hawk head against a knife attack from Brian Jones!

...a hooking type block, with a trap thrown in for good measure!

...knife and Hawk combo...words about the power of this combo are not enough....other than, uniquely American!

Was Caracci there?
I saw HawkChucker and I couldn't really see the others.:D

I'm glad everything went well and I am sure it was a good class. I hope the trainers pleased everyone.

Look forward to seeing "you-guys" soon....Melvin

Andy I want to come to the next class. The pics are great but I bet being has to be better. Can't wait to hear more about the trainers.

Those training hawks are WAY cool -- and perfectly made for training close to the real thing, without the cuts and missing limbs... ;)

I'm gonna post a seminar report in the next couple days...suffice it to say, it was one of the very best training experiences I have ever had.

Best,

Brian.

Who's the guy with the short haircut and goofy mustache? ;)

He's got a very cool mock-t shirt, where can I get one? :p
