WOW is all I can say about this Buck 501 with OPAL scales. The opal fit is done with ZERO tolerance on the fit. I am just astonished at how good this synthetic opal looks on a knife and how well it cuts and polishes.
I did two Buck's in opal today with the other being a Buck 503 and the fit of the 503 is the same as on this 501. The 503 will be going to D. C. Lance in trade for engraving this Buck and two other knives from my personal collection.
