Very nice to see a knife in the news that wasnt used for some malicious act. Especially when a Buck gets used.

PS: Just saw the date on this, let me know if it has been posted already.

He's a true hero- did what he did and tells the story as it happened but doesn't want any praise for his actions.
it's nice knowing that there's still some hope for the human race out there.

GIBBS RULE # 9 ALWAYS HAVE A KNIFE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never let anyone tell me that it's not necessary! regards Henry

Good shot of the Buck! I bet if Chuck or CJ seen it they would send him a knife better suited for that..

Kim, Thanks for posting this. Great! So, good to hear from you and thank you for all your doing. DM

I can't imagine that he would ever give up the Buck knife that was in his hand, after all, it was a lifesaver. regards Henry

Man ,i love seeing stories like that, just watching the news nowadays makes a guy wanna puke, then ya see somethin like this and breathe a sigh of relief!

Good guy to have around. The child is very lucky the right people were in the right place (knife & CPR).

I wonder if the mother keeps a knife handy now?

good lord! that knife didn't have serrations for emergency seatbelt cutting! It didn't have a lock or superS30VINFI54996x steel! How did he manage?!
But seriously, he sure is a hero. And I love those 300's

There was a similar situation in Germany two years ago too. But the man who saved a life came into troble because he used a knife to cut the belt that is forbidden ta carry in germany. That's crazy, isn't it?
