I just got this little bushcraft knife yesterday. Its an Allen Blade. No longer available.

Very cool. I had one of his Bushcrafters in O1. Super well made and razor sharp little knife.

it's a shame about allan blade.... he makes some great knives.....:o

here's my osage packpal i recently scored in a trade.....:D :D this thing is awesome..... i love it..... it's got a 4 in. o-1 blade, with a scary sharp scandi grind....:eek:

i just got it about 5 min.. ago... i'm looking it over as we speak....:D

this thing is pretty darn nice.... it's very comfortable in the hand and way sharp... i love 1095, convexed 1095 is even better.....:thumbup:

i don't think there are very many around these days....:( and i'm sure there isn't a commercial copy either..... i do however see them on e-bay from time to time....

there are a lot of really good makers out there, making some really nice bushcraft/scandi knives....
 
Yep. I knew you 'd like it. David Farmer is so new he's still selling under his value. Great knives. I can see the hamon on both of mine!
 
I just had my Farmers out today and I totally agree about the value of his knives. Every single one of them was slicing thin little splinters off a sheet of paper. Here ar esome pics:

These blades are driving me nuts! I love this style blade, it's so practical and comfortable looking. Does anybody know of a production knife thats even similar to the styles exhibited here? I'll be too poor for a long time to afford a decent custom.

David's knives sell for ~fiftyish bucks. PM me for a link.
 
The EKA Nordic line of knives come very close to the first (most top pic).

Look at the H8 or W11 models.
