I have been doing some resarch of late on A.S.E.K style knives and was wanting to know if BC came out with one, what do you think it would/or should look like and what features it should have?

General rule of thumb for this design is that they all seem to center around the following:

- Serrations of some description, along the top edge of the spine
- lanyard holes in the guard for lashing (covered with the talon hole)
- short/stout blade, but relatively wide, possibly 3/16" or slightly thinner, clip design
- glass breaker pommell
- obviously a MOLLE proof scabbard (available on the market)
- and a belt cutter tool, imagine one out of INFI!

As a design, I would like to see a modified batac, such as the one I was fooling around with here:

Ofcourse add the serrations and modify the pommell to suit the above purpose...

Any other ideas?

Send me one of your ASH1s and I'll grind it down...............

I like the idea Gundy

Perhaps I should get Tinbasher to add some serrations to the Batac that he is doing up for me now

I like everything but the tip, just kinda ruins it for me. Go without the penetrator tip and more of a striat top or swedge and I would be all in. Otherwise I like! With the size the classic handle shape shouldnt hinder use at all.....acutally after taking a second look and seeing its a hybrid of the fusion and classic I like it EVEN MORE! hahahah now I just wanna hold it.

for those who don't like the controued handle, from silverdragon33 - a couple of bill seigle modified batacs. I don't think jerry would ever produce anthing like this (his handles are always more contoured), but ya...
