Got a couple others in, one from a great Hog, another from the ole eBay.

The Active Duty is really one of a kind. Sterile, satin, black canvas micarta. Haven't found another one yet in my searches since I got home.

The FSH is the real deal, right between my ASH and a FBM. I'm sold on it. Jungle green blade, black micarta handles with a Semper Paratus sheath. Feels great in the hand..Now if only it was satin.

I think the thing I love most about Busse is how 'at home' they feel in your hands. I haven't put the AD down yet.

Brings to mind, a GW blade/AD handle would be a slick combo.

Anyhoo, thanks Randucci! Good meeting you!

That AD is screamin! The handles on the FSH are very interesting, they look very different then the black canvas I've seen. Nice!

Good job on both counts bro!

That FSH combo is sweet. Love the jungle green. Congrats on the sweet scores:thumbup:

Good meeting you two Mike, you have a great start there! :D

Thanks Tim!
Heh - it sure was hard to force that FSH into 'user' territory. I took it out back and gave her a good beating. It went straight through one chunk of wood only to meet the concrete paver. NO EDGE DAMAGE.

Then while fumbling through the pile for a 2x6 to chop in half, which it did without reservation, I dropped it into the gravel which scratched the paint down to the metal in areas.

It does need a better edge on it but I don't think my Sharpmaker is gonig to handle that task.
