I haven't seen much of Al Warrens slips and lockbacks posted here.

Anyone have any feedback ?

He used to do the Vegas show , but no longer does it , I should have grabbed one the last time he was here , but I was just then beginning to get the traditional bug.

Yes there are subtle differences between the pearl model and the black damascus one, mostly because I requested that Al make the pearl custom as close to a Queen Cattle King as humanly possible, and with the black one, Al made it for a show, and did not want to be so strictly constrained. Great maker to work with!

here's a mighty-fine Koa handled lockback - it's made so you pinch the blade open & can then use the studs to open it one-handed, slim ingenious and effective!
