A Call to Arms

He's right. Governments have been trying to systematically disarm the populace for decades. People have no way to reliably defend themselves from predators like these. They are told to call 911 and wait, or give the violent rapists/robbers what they want and you might not get hurt, etc.
I say BS.
No more "wussification". People need to realize that their safety rests with them.
 
I will respect this article and the man that wrote it. its also another reason to buy cold steel products with a man like this running that company it says a lot.

That blog was every bit as good as the knives that Cold Steel makes. . . . wait, Oh yeah, the knives are farmed out to companies who can do it better also.

Dear cold steel and other users,

what can we do? what action can be taken? its sad but i dont want to be a cell phone holding recording person in regards to our future of rights. i hear a lot of problems and arguments about guns and knives butim not sure what to do about protecting rights and rallying, just kinda here with my head in the sand
 
Organizations like the NRA and KnifeRights do great work to protect our rights.
They have lots of resources on their individual websites that will help you to research the subject and perhaps find out more information
I like the KnifeRights website. It's full of useful stuff and a great place to start

So you are saying that I didn't at one time try to have an honest and honorable conversation with the folks at Cold Steel. Let's just say it didn't turn out well, it wasn't expedient enough. I found honesty didn't count for much so now I go with Satire and Iconoclastic humor. As I have said many times I liked and owned many of your knives. But as a company I find you and this article to be self promoting and unforgivably braggadocious. In my experience I think Cold Steel is far less than honest and expects others in the industry and in forums to treat you with the sort of respect in print that you have never shown anyone.
As far as making you grouchy?

i had a feeling when i encountered them that was the case, i will continue to look into it. thanks!
i carry with self defense in mind either a spartan, counter point one, or old model voyager clip point. i had it tucked into my waist band one time while watching warriors edge with a friend, but the amusing moment was when lynn pulled his voyager out and snapped it open and my friend said that doesnt look very comfortable, and i pulled mine out and said "hey i have one of those too!"
 
I will limit my honest opinions of Cold Steel's staff and the way they interact with clients to the "Whine and Cheese" where such things belong.
