So I got my new OD Izula on monday. I wrapped it in OD paracord and hung it around my neck. It worked great, I carried it all tuesday and today. At the end of the day, I was moving around a lot of large rocks, to build a bridge over a stream. Anyhow, I figure one of the times I was carrying a rock it pulled the Izula out of the sheath, 'cause when I stopped it was gone. So the moral of the story is, if you're gonna hang it around your neck, FOR GODS SAKE WRAP IT WITH ORANGE CORD. I'll never find the little sucker.

How orange do you want it?

That really does suck man. Maybe a tighter fitting sheath?

We do a 4-foot drop test on the sheaths. Had to be that something grabbed it and pulled it out.

Some of my neckers won't pass that drop test. (Not Izulas)

Course they're all orange too..... :D

I hope you find it.

Your Izulas should when they're new. Once they wear I'm sure that will diminish.

What?! You mean you own other neckers beside the Izula!!! Traitor!

Oh I'm sure it was a rock pinching it against my chest. Wasn't blaming your sheath, these things happen.

it was probably a feral canadian. they're tiny, move quickly, and are hard to see. they also love to steal things from unwitting travelers and hide them in their burrows.

sorry for the bad luck. I can only hope you find it, if not then get a replacement. Best wishes
