Does anyone here know the identity of the gentleman that used to display a collection titled, "A Century Of Pearls"?

I saw it in Waterbury, CT at a North Eastern knife show in 1997 or 98.

I'm pretty sure that both he and his son have been or still are, members of BladeForums.
