Hi, I'm wondering what recommendations you all have for some good-great ceramic sharpening rods. Looking for something 4"-8" that can be put pretty easily in pack. It will be paired with leather on wood strop for final honing.

I've been really enjoying the Outdoor Edge Ceramasteel for touchups. Has ridges like a butcher's steel but is made of alumina ceramic. Very affordable, too.

I use the spyderco doublestuff for touch ups in the field. Medium and fine ceramic. Just large enough to be useful, but light and easy to pack.

But a DMT duo-fold is also really good, packs small, and you can get in coarser grits for real repairs in the field.

I never am without a dmt duo fold when I am out in the boonies...
