Fellow members,Now that we are all starting to waste man hours every day reading and dealing with whining, namecaling and moaning about what somebody else is or isn't, I for one am getting very tired of all this. If anyone else here agrees and feels the same way I do regarding this, here's a thought:
This forum is obviously a business and should be run like one. I know of several events that have been judged with the "it's my forum attitude" and regardless of anyone's opinions on WHO is right, I challenge you all to focus on WHAT is right.
Put aside all the personal drool about who you are or who or what you think someone else is. Act on this forum as you would if all involved parties were in the same room where both word AND deed could exist. Where the potential sentence for rude behavior would be an ass whipping vs. this infectuous forum mucus we are reading more and more of while trying to enjoy ourselves.
The forums can be both, a great place for business and pleasure as well as a place for internet chickenshit attitudes that only exist while alone with a modem. I'm sure it is safe to say we are all tired of the latter and the consequences for them will be catastrophic for this forum.
Therefore my idea is that everyone participating here be responsible and offer a little bit of their time to Mr. Kevin (our host). Upon his feeling the need to ban someone from participating here, which has hurt more than it has helped, I propose he post a question regarding his situation and answers be returned promptly via private email to his adx.
These replies will be business only, and will give Mr. Kevin a "jury" with constructive ideas that come from a group of opinions vs. a single opinion. The final word will belong of course to our host.
I will be happy to commit to donating my time to this forum for this purpose and my opinions will be based on what is right, not who is right.
Respectfully,
Duane Dwyer
