This really is a tribute to TinBasher, known as HogBasher from today onward, our Australian Master of Pimp. Welcome to the trough.

All this started as wishful thinking many moons ago after I saw soupmonger's magic played out on a SwampRat RatWeiler presented in the Swamp, thanks Fergus for allowing me to go along your mod's, much appreciated.

I was able to get a RatWeiler locally and also included a couple of other blades, a Busse NO-E and a Tanker A in not the best shape as to looks.
TinBasher/HogBasher, Richard offered his services and here we are.

Wood used on Handles is Western Australian Jarrah.

Enjoy

A couple of shots of the Tanker A and the NO-E before and after a strip.

... and the result after a bit of time spent in the West with the doctor!

First the three in a group shot!

More at a later stage, this collection will be expanded with a SH-E and a BA-E and a Custom Shop SR SAR to pair with the RatWeiler.

Cheers and thanks for looking.

Congrats on those beauts!!!!

HOGBasher sure knows what looks good and how to make it look that way!!

Very nice there. I really like the handles. I am sad, however to see an original like that tanker loose it's scales.

Hopefully those make great users for you.

Those are truly works of art, Urs! That NO-E is simply perfection. Tinbasher performs incredible magic!

Man, I don't think a Tanker A has ever looked so good!

Congrats... they all look awesome, but my favorite of the bunch is

Thanks Bigfattyt, and believe me I was thinking long and hard re the handles on the Tanker A.
They actually were very "harsh" and the ridges quite sharp biting into palm on good grip. I did a bit of soft sanding across the top and in the valley's and sure enough felt quite comfortable and looked nicer also compared to the original feel.

But my idea behind the whole rework was to change attitude on what looks more "tactical" (the whole 3) to a more OutBack, In The Wild or Bush, rather a BushMan's knife then an Operator's.
I do appreciate Micarta very much but by mirror polishing the blades anyway, a wood handle I thought would just enhance that sought change of attitude.

Cheers and thanks again for comments.
