As a kid 2 of the 5 specific knives I wanted most were a Buck 110 and a 119 special.
Well I got the 110 as my highschool graduation gift, but being left handed kept the 119 away.
thanks to a very generous members who hooked me up this has changed today.

This clean 2010 with new lefty sheath was a generous deal, and It's also the same year as my very first Buck knife which is even more of a bonus.

I had never even held a 119 before so I didn't really know what to expect. It's a great size / weight, the blade is a decent all around thickness, and the handle definitely doesn't feel bad in hand.
This will be an EDC for me, so while it won't be processing any game...ect it will cut my dinner sometimes because that's just how I roll :D

While walking the dog I discovered that the belt loop is not to my liking, I don't like a belt knife that moves around on me so I came up with a very simple solution that seems to be perfect right now.
I put 2 layers of bike innertube around the sheath just above the Buck logo, then ran my belt behind the actual loop. Now the knife is staying put on my belt just how I like it and you can barely even see the rubber on there.

If It is the mini than I believe its the 340s iirc

Yep, that's it I just looked.
I love the knife, it was a gift from a new friend Duncan over on the porch and that obviously makes it more special.
It's not a knife I would have ever bought based on looks, but it grew on me very quickly.
