I am new here (to BF) so I thought I should make a contribution. I recently decided to buy my first large, (larger than a common folder) user fixed blade. I'm familiar with, but never owned, Busse/ SwampRat/ Scrapyard. I found BF as a research tool. I began looking at Scrapyard for the cost to performance factor and when no knives were available I did the next logical thing.............and bought up.....a pretty new Skinny ASH!
Fantastic dealing with Jerry and Amy. I waited as patiently as a 5 year old and almost spontaneoulsy combusted with it's arrival. It arrived a few days before Christmas so I only had time to fondal.
One day after Christmas I found myself holding my new Busse implement staring at our "no longer neccessary" Christmas tree.
Not a big task but fun nonetheless! Sorry, the pics aren't great; didn't have much room to work and my neighbors were looking at me funny.
Enjoy!
*Afterthougt......The pic doesn't protrait it well but I chopped up this beautiful tree and the pile afterwards fit into both my hands! I was able to pick up the branches in one hand and the trunk sections in the other...sort of sad.*
