Greetings All:

I had this great SHORT set of Desert Ironwood scales sitting around so I built this subhilt chute around them. I had more steel than wood! :D All comments welcome.

Ironwood burl is always my fav wood along with koa. This is one beautiful chute.

I'm with you - Koa and DI are some great looking knife handles - thanks for the comment :)

Great looking Chute knife! TK, If you don't mind me asking, what software are you using to edit your photos? Photoshop? Lightroom?

Thanks Adam. I use Photoshop Elements 11. I photograph against a white background, cut/paste the images against a free digital background from the internet. I also build the shadows - when I want a real eye popper, I go to COOP. :):)

That's something I'd like to see in person, considering how difficult it can be to photograph chatoyance in wood (or metal).

that's a real nice looking knife, I like it
