We mostly talk about slipjoints here but I visited my favorite "secret shop" today and scored a beauty.:D

A very good condition Robeson #2. Never even sharpened only blemishes on the guard and scratches on some leather washers . This one is a little to nice to become a user but I could not resist the little thing.

For scale that is a 8OT large stockman in the photo.OAL is 6 1/4" and blade length is 3 1/8".

Wow Todd, that is an equisite little knife!!!

Looking at it brings back a flood of memories from my childhood, when leather handles were the norm, and slim finger worth of blades got the job done. You've got a great little knife there.:thumbup::thumbup:

Maybe rub a little Snow Seal into the leather?

Nice knife Todd
Great find!

Holy Cow, Todd!. You really scored quite the MINTY fresh little Bird & Trout knife here. Good one.

All my old secret shops aren't secret any longer, so I don't luck out like this any more. And hell, I sure do miss taking away a piece like this as I use too in the old days.. Good job.

Best,

Anthony

Man, that is a fine old classic. Like jackknife said, give it a warm rub with Sno Seal or mink oil, close your eyes and dream of the day.

Great lookin' knife you found there.
I love those leather handles sheath knives.
