Hello everyone,

Someone who has acquired a collection of various titanium alloy blades, made by yours truly, has made a mosaic photo of them proper relative size to each other. These blades span several years.

Thought it was super cool and would be fun to post the photo!

very nice! It makes me happy seeing you achieve success through all your passion and hard work. That's the way to do it!

Thanks Lorien, and everyone else.

The two axes, #9 and #11, were prototypes just to try it out, and #11 was the winner.

The pair of machetes, #6, were the first two blades made out of the special BT23 titanium alloy.

#3 and #4, the little short kitchen knife ones, were special requests/custom.

#8 is the oldest one.

#10 was a full custom, made as closely to his design as my abilities allowed. This one is, in my opinion, the best out of the whole bunch and had the most work put into it...
...but the big axe is probably the most fun! :D

I’ve got a few but not nearly as majestic...

You have a fine stash of them! See everyone? It's A-holes like these guys that keep new ones from hitting the exchange. :D No, I'm grateful and happy that you and and others like these creations. Don't forget to send me that big one for the modifications.

I know what you're all thinking: "Put some damn handguards on these things!" Well I like them without because then they're flat. I mean puukkos don't have a guard and you don't hear the Fins saying anything about it. But ok ok FINE, they'll start to get handguards or something now.

A further note about the leather handle: it's not as delicate as it looks. I used one as a food knife for a couple years, washed it in the sink with soap a lot, etc, and it always came out clean, stayed tight and looked new - even better than new over time. Either way, the leather is made to be replaced if needed without disturbing what's underneath. In the OP photo, several of those wraps were not done by me, because the guy who owns them wanted to try it himself and is now a leather handle convert.

The smaller blades remind me of obsidian prismatic blades that form the cutting edge of a macahuitl. Maybe the post-apocalyptic Aztecs need an armament upgrade, even though that would reduce the amount of little blades on the exchange even further.

It's all about the integral guard:p;)
