Hello,I am thinking of a new program for my indivdual customers who buy knives from me on a semi regular basis. At the end of the year I will go over my receipts from all my customers and will award the customer who bought the most knives for the year (from me)a free new custom that would be equal to the avarage amount spent by him or her through out the year. This would be based on the # of knives not the most amount of money. This is somthing I would be doing to show my appreciation for your buisness. This is a Topic that I would like some feed back on.I would like your thoughts or Ideas. This program would exclude dealers of course. Please let me know what you think.

Thanks for your input.

I think that is an excellent idea Brad.A very nice gesture on your part and I`m sure some very lucky customer vill be very pleased.

I think it is a great idea, both as a reward for your customers and as something that will be good for business. It will certainly get some people ordering more knives from you and as such I think it is an excellent concept. I think any well thought out idea that will improve business is a good thing. There is nothing wrong with being a fine knife maker and a good business man at the same time.

That is a wonderful idea. A "thankyou" to the person who has helped you give to the world of knives most by supporting you and your blades.
This is a very nice gesture on your part Brad.

That's mighty generous of you, Brad.
Generosity begets generosity.

First time I have heard of this idea. It's a pretty good one, too.

Heard only good things about you, Brad.

Very cool idea, but don't shut out some of your customers just because they can only afford to buy one knife instead of five or ten. I would just do a generic name drawing of every customer that has bought a knife from you through out the year. That shows no favoritism and displays appreciation to all your customers.

Brad I think the insentive is very generous of you but I like dogmans idea better. Which ever way you do it would be appreciated by your customers

Either way is cool. Don't see any other makers out there offering. . .basically anything. . .except Brad.

Brad. . .Thanks for at least offering and thinkin' of us "consumers." :D

I think Dogmans idea is a much better idea. Each buyer could get one chance for every knife they buy, so the incentive is there for multiple buyers but no nobody has an unfair advantage. Also be advised that having this sort of drawing could conflict with local contest or lottery laws if advertised openly......

I like the original idea. Kinda like a "buy 9 sub sandwiches and the 10th is free".

Cool!

Mike

Thank you for all the input.I will keep my insentive program just the way I introduced it.The only drawings I will have are for charity reasons .The process I have chosen to use is very unpredictable and Fair. I think the one who buys the most should be rewarded. Not to down my other customers but there are buyers and then there are BUYERS.I have on indivdual in Alaska who has bought 8 of my knives in the last year.He is in the lead at this moment.I will try the drawing deal at a show were I might sell 100 tickets at 5$ a ticket( raffle).I appreciate all my customers and there are so many that they all have a chance.Knowing that I will say thank you for your input.

Brad Duncan

thank you and good night.

I too think that would be a great deal! Would that include dealers or just the regular run of the mill collectors?

well brad one of the things i do on a regular base's since i make culinary sets is that if the guy orders a 11"chef and fork most of the time i will gift his wife with a fine paring knife.ladys love these small paring blades around the kitchen so they dont feel left out. and then are on to ordering the rhino chop with the neutral balance blade to handle.www.rhinoknives.com/gallery so i spread it around to the other half.
