Well, go figure, after 10 days in a row of hot sunny weather we get rain and overcast skies. Oh well, in case you couldnt take the hint, I am apologizing for the crappy pics.
Anywho, nyfemaker asked a while back about any noticeable changes with the Insingo in blade shape. So anyway, here is what I have come with for my comparisons. These are four Insingos that I own, two are EDC knives, and two ride in a safe as important knives to me. Here is how they are represented in the photos:
Top - Large Insingo - S35VN- birthdate of July 2011
2nd from Top - Large Insingo Micarta Inlay- S35VN - birthdate of January 2012
3rd from Top - Large Insingo Micarta Inlay- S35VN - birthdate of September 2012
Bottom - Large Insingo Carbon Fiber Inlay - S35VN - birthdate of June 2013

As far as I can tell, the blade shape of plain jane and the carbon fiber inlay blade shape are nearly identical. The blade shape of the two micarta inlays seem to have much more belly in the blade and appear to be upswept a little bit more.

The Insingo is one of my favorite utility knives for EDC for sure. I always carry at least one for work, home or out on the town. As soon as I get the Nyala with the insingo blade shape, I will be a happy camper. Once again, sorry for the quality of pics, the weather is pretty crappy here.
