...finding a sweet, brand new Ruger New Model Blackhawk Bisley 4-1/2" .44 Special in a gun shop just one week before you will be needing all your funds for Blade.

You can order the gun (right?)...

These knives might not be available the week after next...who knows??!!!

Plus...if someone pulled a knife on you and asked for your money...wouldn't you want to be in a position to pull out a Gladius? :D

You can always find or order a ruger, I'd take my money to blade. I don't think you'll have any Regrets, I know i would'nt.

Rugers not going to stop making revolvers anytime soon, take your money to Blade

Sounds like a special run to me. I don't believe that was a regular production run. A conundrum indeed.

It is a nice pistol .... I like the spec's on that very much .... reminds me of the old Colt Bisley Model ....

Mmmmm mmmmm!! I have the regular 44 Special Flattop and let me tell ya.... it shoots!!! Grab that Bisley!! They are not easy to find!

I just looked on GB's website and there were about 35 bisleys on there for sale. A few of them i think are what your looking at buying.
Alot of different calibers and pics listed.

The Luger Pistol was one of the finest pistols that I ever owned. I wish I still had it.

I would really like to get my hands on a Bisley .44 or .45.

That would make a great packing gun.

A conundrum no longer. I bought it!

I have been a gun nut all my life, but never owned a single action revolver until now.

Ruger Flat Top Bisley, 4-1/2 inch, .44 Special, blued, with a standard fluted cylinder. It is indeed a special run. Too good to pass up.

They also had a 5-1/2 inch version of the same revolver when I went back, but the 4-1/2 feels just perfect.

I often suffer a temporary case of "buyer's regret" when I buy handguns, but not this one! Left the store with a big grin on my face.

As for 9mm, my Khar and my two Hi-Powers fill that niche nicely.

As for the Blade show, I will be able to hog up a Busse or two out of my kids' inheritance.

I remember the same sensation right after I Hogged up a Ruger Vaquero (back in the last century).:)

Pics of this model, please. I have yet to see it.

I'm thinking something like this?

Nice grab Mike! So the only question now is the 5.5" Bisley 44 special still at the shop? Because if you don't need it, TN Rat sure does. And if he doesn't, then I sure do. ;-)
