A cool 100 degrees fh.
Today, at a temperature of 100 degrees fahrenheit, the forge feels relatively cool. Compared to late July, when it can soar to 135, todays heat, feels like a cold front passing through the open doors of the forge.
This is my first week back after a 9 week absence, so, the heat is more than bearable, it is enjoyable. I hardly notice, the sweat that runs into my eyes and I don't remember the air hammer having such a sweet cadence. Its like a drum beat, that keeps the forge running smoothly.
Today, I am truly happy, Fred

So you won't think I spent the day just commiserating; these are the five blades that I forged. Four of them are from W2, 1 1/4" round stock, the other is forged from a 3 x 1 1/4 inch roller bearing. [52100]
