I was at my parents house for turkey today and my dad showed me some Randalls he had bought or traded for.First was a 16-7 special, next was a couple of Model 1's,a 7 inch standard model with the leather handle. The other Mod 1 had a 7 inch blade, forward curved hilt, and a green canvas micarta handle with a brass butt cap.The last one was a Buxton Fighter. That was a cool bunch of knives, but one of them felt perfect to me,the stock mod 1.I must have one as soon as I can afford it.

Col. Townsend Whelen, 'The Hunting Rifle', circa 1923.
