This is a seaxy soarta knife i built to sell, 11 1/2 overall length.Man does it feel GREAT in hand lefty or righty, very fast and light. Made from a V-shaped file so i was able to leave the file teeth close to the edge and still have a thin edged knife. It has hammered brass end cap and gaurd with hammered pins too.You can,t see the cool swedge in the pics dang it !
This is probably my favorite knife of all that ive made for many reasons, ranging from the feel to the look and performance of it.

Here is a necker with matching cocobolo sheath and scales for a build off,the blade is 1095. I still need to put the final finish on the blade, its a 800grit belt finish in these pics.

Thats all fer now tho i have some more that are close to completion.

I hope ya,ll enjoyed the show!

I have seen that last one on another thread ( maybe even a different forum) and I really like it. How did you make the sheath for it? Two peices of wood or one peice drilled out?

David

I agree with an earlier post, the necker reminds me of a straight razor.

Very cool.

In fact the necker was started as a straight razor but i decided the blade would be to short and then the build off came along.

The sheath is 1 piece of wood drilled and carved out.

TY Gent,s for the kind words.

That top reminds of what people refer to as a "hack knife". They were designed to take a good bit of beating on the spine to hack through materials.

That last one looks like it would make a perfect cheese knife in the kitchen for both cutting and spreading cheese as well as some trimming of fat off cuts of meat. Is the front edge sharpened.

I'm a huge fan of that square style blade, I comes in very useful for me. If you suddenly find the need to find that knife a home I'll give a good place to live :)

Thanks all !

Myright, sorry the only available one is the seaxy one.BUT if you want to email me i can make make you any style of knife you want.Veryyyyyyyy reasonably priced in only a few days.Im unemployed so i have lotsa time on my hands to devote to making knives.

Here,s some pics that most of you have seen but for those that haven,t.....

Dip kick the clutter outta your way an go to it.Here,s one thats a bit more traditional.

Made from a Nicholson file it,s 7 3/4 lenght 3/16thick and 15/16 wide with some gorgeous Honduran Rosewood scales and black liners. The width of the blade combined with the high grind made this one a TERRIFIC slicer !

I need to do the final finish on the blade and put her on the block.
