Here is a modified hunter with swedge and a large Bushcrafter. I really dont care for swedges on woods knives but thought thus model might look cool with one. Its my first swedge! Wood is brown malle burl on the hunter and red maple burl on the bushcrafter.

It is beautiful and it smelks awesome when sanded. I think it looks good with the orange. Im spending more time on my handles lately. Im really happy with how they are turning out. Its all files for me now!

Chris, now that my son has so graciously returned my credit card & I still have some funds left after his shopping spree this week, I think I will need a large Bushcrafter after the holiday silly season. Your handle work is really starting to stand out on all your knives . . . . especially the Kephart's . . . . ;)
Excellent work young man, just excellent.
Be safe.

Wow that hunter is absolutely gorgeous

Thanks Blazerman!
These will be going up for sale this week. Bryan is going to lake some sheaths for them so figure about a week for shipping.
Price will be 165.00 shipped with sheath, 130.00 without sheath.

You know I like the orange, and the wood ain't bad either.;)

Actually,I love your blending of old school wood & new school G10 & micarta,it makes for some very nice handles.

I'm not a huge fan of swedges, but the overall look of the hunter is great, and the bushcrafter is outta the park!
