Both these were orders. They are finally done and ready for shipping.

Both are 5160 with micarta.

The long one has an 11 inch blade and the recurve has a 9 inch blade.

Let me know what you think.

Nice looking recurve. I especially like the detailing on the spine. The subhilt, gunstock handle appears that it will allow a firm, positive grip.

Nice job.

I like how recurves look and cut, but I hate sharpening them. The handle is meaty enough to keep it snug in the hand during chopping. I tested this one by hacking through a 2x4 without any problems.

Both of those look wicked! I really like the recurve, nice looking handle. And judging by mine I bet the grip is fantastic.

What is the thickness on these?

Thanks, I ate up a couple belts grinding them. I tried to forge them pretty close, but I always stop a bit short, because I would rather grind more to get to the edge I want, than have to grind too much to get out that stray hammer mark.

Your work never ceases to impress me. That handle design and overall shape on the recurve are pretty awesome. Looks pretty balanced. I may have to bug you again for another order soon. Will to resist ordering eroding..... eroding..... ;)

Two more happy customers and couple great knives by you Matt, it doesn't get any better than that

Thanks everyone. I just hope the new owners like them as much as you seem to.
