Here's a couple I've been working on this past week. Both have African blackwood handles with wrought iron fittings. Top knife has a hand forged 4 1/4" saw steel blade and the bottom one is from the 1084 that Mace was selling. Big difference in the look of the two handles. The handle on the top knife was from a recent purchase and the bottom one was from a piece that survived the fire. It was alittle chared on the surface but fine after I finished it off.

Mace, I'm really pleased with the steel. It would have been nice if you could have gotten some alittle wider but I'm not complaining.

Great as always Ray. I have a qurestion about the wrought iron fitings though. Can you see grain or layers in that like damascus?
