Saw this one, and given what the LB4 went for the other day, I was kind of surprised it didn't go a little higher. Definitely one I want for my collection, but that particular one (and the LB4) will have to wait a while before I can justify that kind of money (more likely even more later!) on a knife.

The other one I took a stab at because it looked like an oddity to me and just piqued my curiousity. If I'm looking at the pictures right, it's a 4-pin LB7, but the tang stamp is odd. The side it's normally on, with the nail pull, appears to be blank, while the other side of the tang appears to be stamped "SCHRADE+/USA", although the picture is blurry. Can't tell for sure whether it's serialized. Anybody else seen one like this before?

Thanks,

The Third Gen knives are not something I have collected, he says kicking himself! higher and higher they fly, Wow.

Never seen that tang stamp on the LB7 before, small letter Schrade with much larger + symbol, unusual from where I am sitting anyway.

It's an old 4 pin LB7 and it probably will be serialized. I saw one kind of like this before with a buried stamp. It was discussed on the forum. I don't remember the discussion. It was not stamped on the pile side though???

Not that I can tell by the pics. I will try to take and post better pics when it comes in.
