Wanted to show a couple Floyd Byrd spear point knives. These are 2 of about 37 he made in 2002. A little history on him. He subcontracted the Randall model 18 handles and butt caps early on when Bo Randall was still alive. He was the maker of the stainless steel walking stick/staff that the model 18 could screw on to make a spear as well. He specializes in leather sheaths and some knives, and makes leather sheaths for some of Walter Brend's knives. These both are made with titanium guards, handles and butt caps. Only 6 were made with titanium. One of these has a bird shaped titanium guard which is his logo. Blades are made of 440c and numbered. I just really like the design. They also will screw on the walking stick. The number 0024 translates to 2002 knife 4 and 00237 is 2002 knife 37. Thanks for looking.
