Most of you guys have seen the first one but not after I cleaned it up and got a better picture. I'm still not a photographer and don't claim to be. The other knife is one thats real close to being finished. Its got a 12 1/4" 5160 blade and a elk crown stag handle. I'm sure its well over 16" overall.

Ray, everytime you show one of your blades I realize all over again why I bow down to you. :D Good grief! They both have "the look" but I gotta say that new one just looks like it's freakin alive and intent... I wish you all the best at Blade.

Hoooweee, them are purty. I love the first one, but both are just plain gorgeous. I hope I can make it to Blade to see them in person.

I had the pleasure of conversing with Raymond via email, during the time he built those knives. It was very rewarding listening to him as they developed under his hammer. We'd email, then he'd go out and forge for a while, then come back in and email some more. We covered such a diverse range of topics that I believe all of the worlds problems are now solved. Such very fine work my friend, wish I could see them at Blade, but I won't be able to attend until next year. I see a "touch" of Mr. Scagel in some of your knives, I guess that's why I'm crazy about them, because I really enjoy studying anything Mr. Scagel produces. Flowing curves, no 90 degree angles. Doesn't get better than that. Have a great show Ray!

Those are nice ones Ray! Some lucky collector should snatch those up. I really like the second one. That steel is so classy!

Beautiful work Ray. You are an inspiration! I'm sure you'll do well at Blade. I hope to meet you there some day. Hopefully next year.
