Its been a couple months since I've put any knives together. Just felt like making blades but no desire to do any assembling until now. Here's a couple with a different look. Both blades were hand forged to shape out of some of the finest saw steel I have on hand. The smaller blade is 3 1/2" with an overall length of 8". The other blade has a 4 3/4" blade and is 10" overall. One handle is curly maple and the other curly birch. Wrought iron fittings with two ply leather sheaths.

Hey Ray. Nice looking little knives there. Love your handles on these. See, you can teach an old-dog new tricks :-)

Have a great time at the show and don't worry, you won't have me sitting across the isle from you throwing food on your head. (I paid Dave Lisch to...)

Looking good Big Boy. I wish I had some of that wrought iron.

Hope you are doing well my friend.

Cool knives.
Clean, but earthy.
That doesn't make a bit of sense, but I think you know what I mean.
Nice blades, great looking handles and fittings, and really cool sheaths.

I like that little skinner Ray! I'd like to give that one a workout on some whitetail this year :)

Very nice Ray, I especially like the clean hamons that follow the cutting edge shape so well. You've become a real machine on those sheaths, great packages.

Both look good Ray! I like your wrought iron fittings and they both look like they would feel good "in hand". Both handles look great and I especially like that curly birch.

Thanks for the comments on these knives!

Here's a couple more from this same batch as the first two. One is ebony and the other in beefwood. Both are roughly 8" overall. One plan saw steel and the other a mix with saw steel in it.

Ray....All are Beauties.....I especially like the ebony one !
Always nice to see your work.....

Nice batch Raymond. Did you make the damascus steel in the lower one?

I've been fitting a guard and pommel on our collab gents bowie. With any luck it should be at Boise too.

Bruce, Yes I was involved in making the damascus. This is the big hole damascus I made a couple years ago. The damascus that set my pant leg on fire. Don't worry about the collab. If you have time fine if not no problem.

Very nice Ray! I'm loving the little ebony one, especially so knowing the fire story behind it :D
