Just finished these two blades for one of our marine scout snipers..hes taking them on his survival training in Norway. These blades are 100 percent HIS design, and though i was skeptical of the handle shape..upon their completion i knew alot of blood and sweat had been spent coming up with these ideas. It was my honor to do these blades and i pray he comes home safe..
Specs..01 tool steel (of course) the bigger knife is 1/4 inch stock, flat ground and convex edge. The blade is right at 10 inches, and about 15 overall. It is hand sanded to 600 grit, green canvas micarta scales, and stainless fittings. Carabiner hole in the back. The sheaths were left plain at his request(shame to waste all that beautiful leather..but here at Swenson Knives its like burger king..you get it your way) The are 9 oz hand stitched leather.
The smaller knive is ideantical except its 3/16 stock and has a 5 inch blade, and OAL of about 12 inches.

all dressed up ..with a friend..every knife needs a friend

I really like that large lanyard/carabiner hole in the rear.

Hope he puts them to good use and they serve him well.

Nicely done.

I really like the sheaths for these... is this a new look or am I just that far out of the loop, brother?

Great looking blades. I know he will love them.
Thank him for me, please. I have the utmost respect for the gentlemen doing the work he does.
