A couple full tang pack axes

Hey guys its been a while since I have posted or made any axes, but finished these 2 up this week. The horse mat one was an order, the other one I just kinda did on a whim. I am pretty happy with it, let me know what you guys think.
The basic dimensions are 12.25" long, and the head is 5.25" long with a 3.5" cutting edge. The steel is .170" L6 saw steel.

Ditto on liking the black one. I'll bite. What's a "horse mat one"? The pattern of wood in the top one? Or some kind of rubber mat for the black one?

The black one has a horse stall mat handle (rubber), and the other one is dyed curly maple.
