Here's two knives I will have on the table in Louisville in a couple of weeks. If you are making the trip to the show please stop by and say hello, it's always good to see old and new friends.

A big thanks to Coop for what he does so well.

First up is a small fighter with a handle shape that is you see on some of Steve Johnson's knives.

4 3/4" CPM-154 blade and 9" OAl 1/2" 416 SS Guard and Natural Stag Scales

Next is a Loveless style Dagger.

Very nice Charles. The dagger with bark ivory really appealsmto me.

Charles, I really do love that dagger, it is as good as any I've seen. People will be trampling over each other to get at it!

holy crap are those some nice knives!

Very nice work on both pieces. That dagger is super-slick! Hope you have a great show.

Coolness, Loveless style!

Very nice, love the mammoth handled dagger!

Kind regards,

Jos

I thank you all for your kind comments.

Looking forward to the Guild show and hope to see some of y'all there.

Take care

Charles

Thanks, Charles.

The overall grinds and tapers are so visually apparent. BIG props.

I want to point out how well he has listened, learned, and APPLIED his work on the guards. Anyone who has handled genuine Loveless' knows he never leaves blocky edges and transitions (although they look great visually).

Charles has modified his output to closer reflect these subtle, but important facets.

I wish you best of fortunes at the Guild Show!

Coop

Simply outstanding, Charles!!

I pulled one of my Loveless knives - a drop point hunter - out of storage this weekend to inspect it and apply a fresh coat of protective wax. While I had it at home, I had a chance to compare it to one of Charles' drop point hunters I bought a year ago. Now mind you, the Loveless knife is 20 years old and I am sure the quality coming from the Loveless shop has improved substantially since then, but the fit and finish on Charles' knife was clearly superior. I own several Loveless-style hunters from several makers, and Charles is right at the very top. And these two knives just make me anticipate that much more the next knife I get from Charles from the follow-up order I placed with him six months ago.
