A Couple 'Hawks

Hi guys,
Here's a couple of "hawks I've worked on. I sanded them down and blued the heads. I didn't take them all the way down to a completely smooth finish. I wanted to show a bit of the forgemarks. The handles are not completely finished...I might do some brass nail decorations.

I like the head on the first pic. May I ask where you purchased it? I'd like to get a few.

Man...I really like that last one!...the moosetraxforge unit. I see he has offerings on eBay, but not that particular head. Drats! :grumpy:

You could email him thru ebay and ask him to put one of his hammer poll hawks up.
He usually doesn't have this many hawks at one time. For a long time it was only one or two a month.
The one I got (quite a while back) had a black finish (paint) along with a lot of forge finish. The ones he's offering now have a much nicer finish.
