A couple I just rediscovered and a question.

If I remember right, this particular model was the very first LE Buck I ever bought. They were made in 2008 and are numbered #'s 264 and 283 of 1000.

My question is, has anyone ever used one of these as an EDC and if so, how did the leather handles hold up? Has there been any sign of the leather separatiing from the frame? I'm thinking that I might start using one of these as a dress up knife. They came with a nice brown, sort of distressed leather sheath, but I think they would go good with an extra tooled 111 Classic sheath that I have.

I love those 110, I've seen one or two on the Bay but was never able to acquire one. Nice knives Dave...

I did not get one for the reason you are asking about. Will it work as an EDC? The old classic sheath will add a touch of class to that one Dave;). You let us know how it holds up.

Thanks guys. I remember having three of them, but I either gave one away or traded it off. I think I'll take one with me up north to carry some, but the way I use a knife isn't a good test of it's qualities or how well it will hold up.

It and the tooled sheath will look good if I decide to "cowboy up" while I'm there. ;) Guess I should dig out a pair of my old Tony Lama's to take along.
